These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Mckenna Rose Hair Ltd (trading as Petal & Pin Hair). By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following:

Appointments & consultations

Some services require a consultation prior to booking, including colour, extensions, and all wedding hair services. This allows us to assess your hair, discuss your goals, and ensure the correct time and services are booked.

Colour services & patch testing

A patch test and consultation are required for all new colour clients. Existing clients may also require a patch test if they are having a significant colour change or if they have not visited us for over one year.

Patch tests must be completed before any colour appointment can go ahead.

Deposits

We may request a deposit for longer appointments, colour services, and extension services.

All wedding bookings and hair extension services require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to your appointment — for weddings, this will be taken no later than 48 hours before the service.

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your booking.

Cancellations & rescheduling

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment may incur a fee. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Missed appointments or late cancellations may be charged accordingly.

Late arrivals

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, if your lateness means we are unable to complete your service, a charge may still apply. This will be handled depending on the individual circumstances.

Wedding bookings

All wedding hair services are booked via consultation and require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

Final balances must be paid prior to the wedding day, no later than 48 hours before the service.

Travel fees for on-location wedding services vary depending on location and will always be discussed in advance and included in your quote.

Hair extensions

All extension services require a consultation prior to booking.

A 50% deposit is required once your extension service is confirmed. Extensions are ordered specifically for you and are non-refundable once purchased.

Final payment must be made prior to your appointment.

Payments

Payment for services must be completed in line with your booking agreement. Remaining balances are due before or on the day of your appointment, depending on the service booked.

Changes to services

If you wish to change your service after booking, please let us know as soon as possible. Changes may affect appointment timings and pricing.

Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary, including if patch test requirements have not been met or where health and safety may be compromised.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website.
