FAQs
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is paid on-street parking directly outside the salon. We’re also just a short walk from Sainsbury’s car park, which offers up to two hours of free parking.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online via our booking system, or if you’d prefer something more personal, you’re welcome to message us on WhatsApp or Instagram and we’ll help you choose the right appointment.
I’m not sure what to book — what should I do?
That’s absolutely fine. If you’re unsure which service to choose, just send us a message and we’ll talk it through with you. We’re always happy to guide you in the right direction.
Do I need a patch test before a colour service?
Yes — if you haven’t had a colour appointment with us in the last six months, a patch test and consultation will be required before your booking.
This allows us to carry out the necessary safety checks and, just as importantly, ensure we’ve allowed the correct timing for your appointment. Colour services can vary significantly depending on your hair history, desired result, and any changes you may be making.
If you’re planning a colour change, even if you’re an existing client, we may also need to arrange a fresh consultation so we can tailor everything properly and achieve the best possible result.
What happens during a consultation?
Your consultation is a relaxed, one-to-one chat where we take the time to understand your hair, your lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to achieve.
We’ll talk through your individual hair needs, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel completely comfortable and confident with your stylist. This also allows us to plan your appointment properly, ensuring we’ve allowed the correct amount of time for your service.
If you’re booking a colour, your consultation gives us the opportunity to carry out a patch test and recommend any treatments or services that may help you get the best results.
Most importantly, it’s a chance for us both to get to know each other — so when it comes to your appointment, everyone knows exactly what to expect, and we can deliver a truly tailored experience.
Do you offer wedding hair trials?
Yes — we offer wedding hair trials to help you feel confident and relaxed ahead of your big day.
Trials can be booked online, however we usually recommend getting in touch with us first so we can talk through your ideas, answer any questions, and make sure you’re booked in for the right service and timings.
You’re also very welcome to message us directly if you’d prefer a more personal approach — we’re always happy to help guide you through the process and make everything feel easy from the start.
Do you travel to wedding venues, and is there a travel fee?
Yes — we offer on-location wedding hair, travelling to your chosen venue on the day to help everything feel relaxed and seamless.
Travel fees vary depending on location and will always be discussed with you in advance and included in your initial quote, so everything is clear from the start. We’re happy to talk this through when you get in touch to book.
